Why was the live Elevate Bankers Conference cancelled?

At Elevate, we take the health and safety of our members, partners, speakers, and staff seriously. At our core, we are community-minded, and that value transcends industry. With the COVID-19 outbreak having been declared a global pandemic, the CDC’s announcement yesterday advising against large gatherings, and in conjunction with widespread travel restrictions, Elevate has canceled our Las Vegas conference. While we are disappointed that we will not be able to host this inaugural event, we are excited to announce the transition of the Elevate Bankers Conference to a “Virtual Experience” instead of a live program. The Elevate Bankers Virtual Experience will allow bankers from around the country to engage in industry-leading content and network with peers in a way that is safe and accessible for everyone.

What is happening in place of the live, in-person event

Attendees can still access world-class content and hear from industry leaders virtually via live-streamed and on-demand sessions through the Elevate Bankers Virtual Experience, launching on April 21st, 2020.

What topics will be discussed at the Elevate Bankers Virtual Experience?

We are shifting from a two-day in-person event to a three-day virtual event, so we have had to modify the conference agenda significantly. With attendees and speakers from coast to coast we are trying to accommodate everyone’s availability and schedule.  We are working on these details with speakers every day so please make sure you check the agenda page regularly for updates and the latest schedule.

How much is a virtual ticket and what does it include?

A virtual ticket is $600 (half the price of the Elevate Bankers Conference registration) and includes access to all live sessions over the three-day program, virtual lounges, banker discussion forums, and recorded sessions in case you miss a presentation or would like to share with others within your bank.  All attendees will get access to the presentations and content provided by the speakers during their program.

How will the Virtual Experience be held?

Elevate will utilize ZOOM meetings to hold all live educational sessions and Virtual Lounges.  Before the “Virtual Experience” begins all attendees will receive an email with detailed instructions and links to the live online program and how to retrieve the On-Demand recordings.

What is a Virtual Lounge?

Elevate is a community for bankers built upon three simple principles: educate, connect, and inspire. Connecting bankers and providing a community for bankers is core to the Elevate mission. With this in mind, Virtual Lounges will be online ZOOM sessions that will enable bankers within each track of the Elevate Bankers Virtual Experience to engage with each other in a facilitated peer session on topics, ideas and strategies that mean the most.
